a very good university has made an offer that to study computer science i need 300 ucas points my maths is average and so is physics but to achieve this how many a-levels should i do or a combination eg
3-a-levels and a btec award
2 a-levels and a btec certificate
1 a-level and a btec diploma
or just a btec diploma
the topics am considereing are computing maths and some easy a-level plus a BTEC in either games design or software development
but what do you reconmend i do i know i need BBB am not quite sure how well i will do in computing but in maths currently at gcse level i am at a C higher level but my BTEC IT i am predicted to get a distinction and all my other subject i am average apart from in english and RE (B)
what do you suggest would be the easy way into the uni and on top of that get a bit of experiece from a-levels to study CS thanks very much i need advice all connexions service are useless

If you can’t get the grades, try another university. Most important thing is you do what is right for you and not try to aim above your level and end up failing.
I found this whole question difficult to read – brushing up on your English may help you as well! CS is no easy ride at a good university, and you’ll need a good maths foundation.
